Atlas of the Human Brain and Spinal Cord, Second Edition, is designed to provide a photographic survey of the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the central nervous system. It is organized in six sections: 1) anatomy and sections of the brain and spinal cord, 2) thick stained sections of the brain and brain stem in the three orthogonal planes, 3) table of neuroanatomical lesions, 4) case studies of brain tumors and degenerative disease of the CNS, 5) blood supply, and 6) internal structure of the brain stem.
